Please find below common questions that I get asked. On any given day I receive 150+ emails. I can only respond to genuine enquiries about our services.
1. What makes you different from other career coaches?
Most career coaches give generic advice and rehearse the same old “STAR method” answers. I don’t. Since 2013, I’ve coached over 21,000 students and professionals and helped them land jobs at Goldman Sachs, PwC, Arup, and dozens of other top firms. My approach is honest, practical, and tailored. I’ll tell you exactly what’s working, what isn’t, and how to fix it. No fluff, just results.
2. I keep applying and getting rejected. Can you really help me?
Yes. If you’re stuck in a rejection cycle, there are usually two problems: either your CV and applications aren’t getting through, or you’re not showing the right skills in interviews. Together, we’ll diagnose the issue, fix it quickly, and create a plan you can follow. Many clients go from silence and rejections to multiple interviews within weeks.
3. Do you only work with students, or also with parents and professionals?
I work with all three groups. Students come to me when they’re trying to break into their first role. Parents often want support for their children and sometimes for themselves. Professionals reach out when they feel stuck in their career or want to move into something better. The process always starts the same: understanding your story and tailoring a strategy that actually works.
4. How quickly will I see results if we work together?
No one can guarantee you a job and if they do, they’re lying. What I can guarantee is a proven process, straight-talking feedback, and coaching that gets results when you put in the work. My track record speaks for itself: thousands of students have used these methods to land roles across the UK and beyond.
5. Can you guarantee me a job offer?
That depends on your effort and timing. Some clients see interview invites in a couple of weeks, while others take a few months depending on the job market and their experience level. What I can promise is momentum: if you follow the system, you’ll see more responses, more interviews, and a clear path forward instead of endless guesswork.
6. Do I need top grades or internships to get started?
Not at all. I’ve worked with clients who had average grades, no internships, and even career gaps. Employers care more about how you present your story than whether it’s “perfect.” My job is to help you frame your skills and experiences in a way that employers actually value.
7. What’s the difference between your online courses and your coaching?
Courses give you tools, templates, and a clear structure to follow at your own pace. They’re perfect if you want to work independently. Coaching is hands-on. I review your CV, cover letter, and interview answers with you directly, and we build your strategy together. If you want speed, accountability, and personal feedback, coaching is the better choice.
8. How do I know whether I need a course, a one-off call, or premium coaching?
Here’s how I’d break it down:
- If you want to do it yourself, get a course.
- If you’ve got a very specific problem to solve or an interview coming up, book a one-off hourly call.
- If you want help from start to finish, covering CVs, applications, interviews, and assessment centres, premium coaching is for you.
Not sure which one fits? Fill out the form, tell me your situation, and I’ll point you in the right direction.
9. Do you cover everything including CVs, interviews, and assessment centres?
Yes. I’ve built systems for the entire journey, from writing your first application to preparing for final-round assessment centres. Whether you need a sharper CV, better interview answers, or practice with case studies and group exercises, I can help.
10. I’m an international student. Is it still worth working with you?
Yes, depending on your situation. I used to specialise in international students, and although I now work more with home students and professionals, I still take on international clients case by case. My advice is simple: see me sooner rather than later. The job hunt is time-sensitive with visas and sponsorships, and the earlier we build your strategy, the stronger your chances of success.
